Microsoft Office Session Offerings

Learning Office Basics
A 3 session offering designed to give the customer an overview of a few of the software programs that are part of the Microsoft Office Suite.  Fluency in Microsoft Windows techniques is required.  Homework will be assigned in each session and is expected to be completed by beginning of next session.  Note that this session will comprise of 3 or more home visits, and will be charged at a higher-than-single session rate.  Offering includes: 

• Introduction to Microsoft Word (1 session)
• Introduction to Microsoft Excel (1 session)
• Choice of either an Introduction to  Microsoft Outlook or an Introduction to Microsoft Powerpoint (1 session).

Learning Outlook
A session designed to demonstrate the primary features of Microsoft Outlook (Email tool, Address Book, Task Manager, Calendar) and teach the customer the basic techniques of each feature.  Fluency in Microsoft Windows techniques is required

• Creating and managing email with Outlook
• Using Outlook's Address Book (Contacts)
• Using Outlook's Task Manager
• Using Outlook Today
• Using Outlook's Calendar
• Backing up your Outlook data

Independent Study in using Word
At an hourly rate, a WiseGuy technical representative will provide instruction to the customer to allow them to gain knowledge and fluency with Microsoft Word.  This offering is designed to allow the customer to determine the specific items withing Microsoft Word that they wish to learn, and the meetings will be tailored to meet those specific items.  Meetings will continue until the customer determines that their personal goals in learning this product are complete.  Fluency in Microsoft Windows techniques is required

Just want someone you trust to talk to when you need assistance with technology?
For a flat annual fee, a WiseGuy representative can assist you in basically anything related to computing or consumer electronics.  Quoting of this offering will be based on specific products currently installed in a computing system(s) or located on the customers premises at the time the contract is signed by both parties.  A contract can also include future products to be purchased, but product type must be included in contract specifics, i.e. HDTV (and not specifically a Sony Model XYZ123, although if a specific model of a product type is known when contract is drawn, it can be included).  Hours of contract will be normal business hours, M-F 9AM - 5PM, and onsite visits scheduled as necessary as part of contract specifications.
